The TYPE 409 Mining Trailing Cable is designed for general use in mines, excluding underground coal mines, where it serves as a reliable trailing cable. It is also suitable for smaller cables used in drills and handheld equipment, as well as larger cables utilized to supply power to bigger machines. Here are the specifications:

• CONDUCTOR: Comprised of electrolytic, multiple-stranded circular flexible tinned copper wire (rope lay) conforming to AS/NZS 1125-2.10 standards, ensuring efficient power transmission and flexibility.

• LAYUP: The cores are laid up over a semiconducting cradle with one pilot core in the center, arranged without direct contact with each other, ensuring proper insulation and preventing electrical interference.

• OUTER SHEATH: Covered with a heavy-duty elastomer outer sheath, compliant with AS/NZS 3808 standards, offering excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and environmental factors, ensuring durability in harsh mining conditions.

• RELATED STANDARDS: Compliant with AS/NZS 2802 standards, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and safety requirements.

• RATED VOLTAGE: Available in various voltage ratings, including 1.1/1.1 kV, 3.3/3.3 kV, 6.6/6.6 kV, 11/11 kV, and 22/22 kV, catering to different power transmission needs in mining operations.
